A seminar is conducted today by the Psychology Department “Think Better, Live Better”, a positive attitude towards the hardships of life.
The seminar commenced with the recitation of holy Quran preceded by Naat Sharif by the Psychology department students
The leading figure of the seminar HOD psychology department soon to be a Doctor, Mrs. Azra Perveen, intimated the program by introducing the topic of the seminar embellished with Skits on mental health and on the Social Evil of the superstitious behaviour towards Depression and Anxiety.
The 1st semester ADP performed the skit playing the role of spiritual BABA, the Chela to Baba, the girl victim in depression, and a student in the role of a teacher who gives awareness to the victims parent to visit a psychologist instead of any spiritual Baba.
There was a quiz too on the topic of psychoanalysis and psychotherapy among the ADP students as conducted by Assistant Professor Psychology Mrs. Jaweria.
Ms. Zainab Bibi, lecturer Psychology, delivered the awareness speech on the concept of positive attitude.
The CTI Psychology made a deliberate and researched presentation on multimedia about causes, and cures of depression, anxiety and Phobia, and presented the only cure of all in keeping a positive attitude towards hardships.
Dr. Shaista Andleeb delivered at the end a presentation on the Myth and Fact treatment of anxiety and depression by presenting a cultural, social and psychological review of the human mind.
The psychology department and the quiz winners 🏆 received the certificates of Appreciation from the Principal at the end of this comprehensive, modern and updated seminar on the positivity of human mind.
